Rose Marie Nuffer is based in Little Rock, Arkansas and is a seasoned gardener, herbalist, and nature educator who is passionate about connecting people to plants and nature for the sake of wellness. She started Central Arkansas Herbalism in 2016. She currently teaches, consults, and sells plants and herbs through her business The Whole Lot. Rose’s presentation is about “Gentle & Effective Herbs for Kids.”

I’ll talk about five of these plants, their benefits, how to grow them, when to harvest them, and how to process them into helpful home remedies that you’ll feel confident giving to your little ones and using for yourself.”

Lisa Fischer is a longtime radio and tv personality who parlayed her love for research as a journalist with her love of health and became a certified health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City in 2021. She has been hosting a successful health podcast since 2020 and has garnered more than 275,000 downloads in that time. Lisa is an expert on the intermittent fasting lifestyle and thyroid health. Founder and CEO of Hippie Hounds
Andrea Harris is the founder and CEO of Hippie Hounds, a pioneering company dedicated to providing natural alternatives for pet care through the use of veterinary cannabis. Beginning their career as a veterinary technician, Andrea pursued a specialty in Veterinary Cannabis, becoming a certified veterinary cannabis counselor in the process.
With a passion for advancing the field, Andrea has trained veterinary technicians worldwide, including in South Africa and Brazil, sharing valuable insights and knowledge on the endocannabinoid system and its applications in veterinary medicine. Additionally, as a certified instructor with the American Association of Veterinary State Boards, Andrea is committed to educating others on integrating natural therapies into traditional veterinary practices, ultimately promoting a holistic approach to pet health.
Garrett Collums, RD,LD,MSND
Garrett Samuel is a Registered Dietitian and cofounder of Sound Extractions, a company pioneering sound frequency-extracted medicinal mushrooms. With a background in Integrative Nutrition, he blends dietetic concepts from the Traditional Chinese & Ayurvedic systems of healing with Western Herbalism and Modern Science to help people reconsider their relationship with food and medicine.
His journey with medicinal mushrooms began in college when he discovered their power to enhance focus and improve sleep. Now, after years of research and product development, he is currently writing A Practitioner’s Guide to Medicinal Mushrooms to bridge the gap between evidence-based science and traditional wisdom.
In his talk, Garrett explores food as energy and information, emphasizing the often-overlooked intimacy we share with what we eat. He will highlight Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Reishi, and Chaga, discussing their potential to support metabolic health, neurodegeneration, and issues of autoimmunity when incorporated into daily life.
Attendees will leave with a broadened perspective and practical inspiration to deepen their connection with food and mushrooms. The session will conclude with a Q&A, offering further insights and opportunities to work with Garrett.
April Lane
Therapist
April Lane is a mental health professional that is a Fellowship Therapist with Capstone Wellness presently serving at Capstone Treatment Center. April has an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University and received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Public Relations from the University of Central Arkansas. Since graduating April has been drawn to seeking out diverse and integrative healing modalities that encourage an integrative view of the human body, mind, spirit, and takes into account the entire human experience.
April received her 100 hour meditation teacher and Yin Yoga teacher certification in 2018. Since beginning her teaching journey she has been studying Mindfulness, Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, Traumatic Stress studies, Safe and Sound protocol therapy, and is consistently acquiring other tools and techniques. Her focus in therapy healing trauma by utilizing the resources within the nervous system. She believes every person has experienced a significant moment of impact that their body and mind experiences as trauma and that everyone can experience healing when given the right tools and supportive systems that promote systemic resolution are put in place.
